Alexandra Timpau spent ten years practicing architecture before transitioning to photography, where she began documenting the built environment. Her architectural background profoundly influences her approach, shaping how she frames her subjects and the atmosphere she seeks to capture. Alexandra's commissions and personal projects span various sizes, locations, and aesthetics, from construction sites to luxurious villas and large-scale developments.

Her passion for photographing architecture as a dynamic process, from inception to aging, inspired her project "In Between." This series aims to highlight the complex and ethereal beauty of building sites.
