Your privacy is important to LINKA NEWS. In this privacy statement, we want to inform you how we collect, use, share and store your personal data.

"Personal data" means any information relating to a natural person who has been or may be identified.

Personal data means data that, in itself or in combination with other acquired data, can identify a particular person. If we combine personal data with other data (those that can not identify an individual), we treat this information as personal data.

Purpose and legal basis:

We collect, in particular, your name, address, e-mail and telephone number for the purposes of media services. The legal justification for processing your name, address, e-mail and telephone number for this purpose is the performance of the contract.

We may use your personal data to communicate with you, for instance when negotiating   media services, providing information about your realizations or sending notifications in the event of major changes to this privacy statement. We may also use your personal data in accordance with applicable laws when marketing information is submitted in the form of newsletters.

Other cases of personal data handling

LINKA NEWS can use personal data for internal statistics and for marketing or operational purposes, such as report making or tracking and analysing current trends, client interests, photography trends and other trends related to the customers.

Cases of disclosure and publication of personal data

We can share your personal data with others if we have your consent in accordance with applicable laws.

In accordance with applicable laws, we may also disclose your personal data to others if we believe it is necessary or appropriate: (a) under applicable laws and other generally binding legal regulations; (b) to meet the requirements of judicial, administrative or other proceedings; (c) to be able to respond to the requirements of public authorities; (d) in cases of criminal proceedings; (e) in other cases specified by law or by other generally binding legal regulation.

LINKA NEWS accepts reasonable security measures to help protect personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access and unauthorized disclosure or modification. You may report a security risk or a similar incident by e-mail: vendula@linka.news or info@linka.news.

Storing personal data

Your personal data will be stored for as long as  necessary to meet the purpose for which it was obtained, as stated in this Privacy Statement (unless the law provides for a longer retention period).

Check, edit, update and remove your personal data

LINKA NEWS takes reasonable steps to ensure that the personal data we collect is accurate, complete and up to date. You can request access to your personal data and ask for incorrect data update. You can also request the deletion of your personal data. LINKA NEWS will respond to your request as quickly as possible in accordance with applicable laws. For your protection, we can only handle personal data requests associated with the specific e-mail address you used when sending the request, and in some cases, we must verify your identity before doing so. We may refuse to process requests that violate the privacy of others, are unreasonable, or would require us to carry out an activity not permitted by applicable law. This is without prejudice to the provisions of applicable laws requiring us to store certain personal data for a longer period of time for archiving purposes.

Linka News carries out your personal data processing, as it is necessary to fulfil the contract with you (or to implement the measures taken before the conclusion of such a contract). Linka also process your personal data, as it is necessary for the fulfilment of public duties in business activities.

2. THE LAWFULNESS OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

2.1. The legal basis for your personal data processing is the fact that such processing is necessary for:

2.1. 1. fulfilment of the contract between you and the trustee, or for the execution of a measure by the trustee before the conclusion of such a contract within the meaning of Article 6 paragraph 1 (b) Regulation (EC) No [4] of the European Parliament and  the Council on the protection of individuals  concerning the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/ EC (General Regulation on the protection of personal data));

2.1. 2. compliance with the legal obligations applicable to the trustee within the meaning of Article 6 paragraph 1 c) of the Regulation, in particular the fulfilment of the obligations imposed on administrators by generally binding legal regulations, in particular by Act No. 235 / 2004 Coll., on Value Added Tax, as amended, by Law No. 586 7} Coll., On Income Taxes, as amended, and by Act No. 563 / 1991 Coll., On Accounting, as amended.

3. PURPOSE OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

3.1. The purpose of your personal data processing is to perform a contract between you and the trustee or to execute a measure by the trustee before entering into such a contract and to fulfil the related public duties by the trustee.

3.2. The controller does not automatically make individual decisions within the meaning of Article 22 of the Regulation.

4. THE RETENTION PERIOD OF PERSONAL DATA

4.1. Your personal data will be processed for the duration of the effects of the rights and obligations under the contract, and for the period necessary for archiving purposes under the relevant generally binding legal regulations, but not longer than the period prescribed by generally binding legal regulations.

5. OTHER RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA

5.1. Other recipients of your personal data will be persons providing technical and organizational services, including software and data storage, and administrators of tax or accounting advice (personal data processors) to the administrators in accordance with administrator's instructions.

5.2. The recipients of your personal data, to comply with legal obligations, may also be public authorities or other competent authorities in cases where administrators impose generally binding legal regulations.

6. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

6.1. Under the terms and conditions set forth in the Regulation, you have the right to request from the trustee access to your personal data, the right to repair or delete your personal data, or limit their processing, the right to object to the processing of your personal data and the right to the portability of your personal data.

6.2. If you believe that the processing of your personal data has been violated or the Regulation is violated, you have the right to file a complaint with the Supervisory Authority.

6.3. You have no obligation to provide personal information. The provision of your personal data is a requirement for the conclusion and performance of the contract, and without providing your personal data, it is not possible to conclude the contract or to fulfil it by the trustee.
